Behind The Pen

Hello, my loyal friends who have stuck with me over the past year+ of me barely writing anything at all! *hides face* Here's the thing- my blog so far has been all about "behind the scenes" of my writing because there is a life behind every pen. However, there's only so much I can share about my writing without giving things away, risking my content being stolen, and so on. Whenever I would come on here to write a post I would find myself almost stressed with writing posts because I just didn't know what to share. SO... This made me realise that I need to make some changes around here. With the way I'm doing things right now, I'm unable to share so many of the things I wish I could, but I feel somewhat restricted. I want to be able to write posts on any topic that comes to me and I want to share with the world so they can be partake in the joy, use, encouragement, etc. that I get from that topic. Now don't worry- this is still Beh...

Well, that worked out a dream, didn't it... *facedesks* Ok, but seriously. I'm taking a device break right now (excluding my laptop, which I'm using for writing and school) and it's really been helping me out writing-wise. But that's a post for another time. For now, I'm just letting you know that there are posts planned and I plan on getting them to you very soon. Sooooooooooo....... Yea. Sorry about that. Ok, well, I guess that's all I wanted to say! April. April 30th, 2018 was the last time I posted. 😱 I AM SO SORRY, GUYS! THIS IS SO BAD OF ME! After April, the whole busyness of summer sorta kicked in and, after that, I never got back into the daily rhythm of blogging and weekly posting. I hereby take complete responsibility for this lack of posting. I can only hope that you guys haven't completely left me after I was gone for so long and that you still read and enjoy this blog. SO, that being said! Where have I been and what have I been doing? Here are some things that have happened in my life since posting- I turned 15 in May My wonderful baby brother was born I went to an AMAZING camp (Shoutout to Camp Victory! 🙌)  We had our last year of the Bible Conference we go to These are just a few of my non-writing highlights since the last update on life.  A few things that happened in my writing life are-  I became a Community Assistant on Y-dubs I completed the first draft...

Guys, guess what! No, go on, guess! IT'S CHRISTMAS! (I feel I should get an award for cheesy opening statements for my blog) So, before I continue I'd like to apologise for not posting last week! I've had various distractions and I had planned on writing one but I never got around to it! 🙈 This week is going to be a little bit of an off-topic post (It was gonna happen eventually) about Christmas ('coz what else would I write about this time of year? Easter?). Today I'm sharing our family's Christmas traditions with you guys! One of the first traditions is one that lasts all through December. We have an advent book that we go through every year (a different one in the series per year). It's set in Bible times from the POV of different children and it all leads up to the birth of Christ.
